Assets overlapp in Guardian dashboard

We use a unique machine-id to distinguish between assets that may have the same hostname or even the same internal IP coming from separated subnets

You may see your assets overlapping in case you have used a VM template in your virtualization solution, copied or cloned the machine and haven't updated the unique machine identifiers

To update machine-id you may execute the following

Asset has never reported or seen in Guardian

It could be a case that your license has expired or reached asset limit. Usually the cli agent would indicate this in its output when a scan is executed.

You may check your license status in Guardian UI under asset management

Asset stops reporting after a while

It could be a case that your license has expired. Usually the cli agent would indicate this in its output when a scan is executed.

You may check your license status in Guardian UI under asset management

Asset overview shows NotSeen status for some of my assets

This may indicate an issue with the scanner, its configuration or network restrictions from the host.

Check the logfile of the scanner or execute the scanner manually and obvserve any errors in the output
